kavanaugh eye is doing okay. our billboard is up and our soiree ad is out- they both turned out great. it's pretty cool to see my photography out there!! things have started to pick up a little bit since those things came out. we also have arkansas times ads starting in a few weeks, and we're sponsoring npr's morning and evening rush hour spots! in may we're sponsoring a bicycle race "cycle for sight" that benefits the jones eye institute for eye care research. we're hoping to get some business from that as well. i think we've done a good job on marketing so far, so hopefully it pays off as much as we expect it to!
today i drove to jonesboro for a bridal photo session. the weather was so great and the photos turned out well. i'll post some when i get some of them edited. her wedding is in june, so i'll be a whale by then (all black outfit for me that day!!). i'm glad they seemed excited about finding out i was pregnant and not asking to switch photographers! i've had quite a long week (few weeks actually!), so i'm VERY VERY much looking forward to being able to sleep in tomorrow for the first time in a while.
well, here is a recent belly shot. i've also posted 2 other random food pictures. i've always wanted to do a "food blog" where i blog about what i cook and post pictures, but i never remember to do it when i cook. also, i take a long time to cook anyway, and brian's hungry tummy wouldn't like me to spend an extra 20 minutes photographing everything! :) but, here's what i had for dinner the other night- SUPER YUMMY crispy salmon (to get it crispy you have to heat olive oil to a pretty hot temp before putting the fish in the pan, and then don't mess with it until you turn it over, and only turn it over once) with couscous topped with a saute of spinach, zucchini, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, onions, garlic and basil. it was very very good (and healthy!). i love couscous. it's really easy and tastes really good with veggies in it. i get the whole wheat kind with flax seed- extra healthy! i'm reading that salmon is good to eat right now for violet's brain- she needs me to get all the omega-3's that i can! the other picture is of the trader joe's boysenberry jam i got in arizona. i made a pb&j with that tonight, and boy was it yummy!!!

You are looking great!!!
Love,
Dad
Yummy dinner! How 'bout you come and stay with us for a few weeks and teach me all your cooking secrets? :) That's awesome that you've only gained 6 pounds! Great job!
What a beautiful mommy! You really could get a lot of extra $ for baby shopping by selling a cookbook! That looks delicious! I'm going to have Dad bring a bunch of stuff back from Trader Joe's-- I wish we had one here. Love you!
