2day old blog- forgot to post...

okay, i'm exhausted so i'm not going to post long, but i wanted to show you our "opening day" pictures and give you an updated ever-stretching belly picture (and brian's belly too). :)

kavanaugh eye care is officially open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was a LONG weekend to get it open this monday, but we did it. the only thing we lacked was the granite countertop on the reception desk, which was put in on wednesday. everything looks great, but it's hard to be enthusiastic about it because we're there everyday looking at EVERYTHING, so it's hard to know for sure what everyone will think at this point! we've had a slow week, but it's been alright. we've had 4 patients. there have been a few mistakes, but nothing too huge. at least once a day, i feel like i've just woken up, and realized, "where am i??? is this our business????" i still can't believe we've done it. well, we've OPENED, but we'll see what happens from here! we're having a lot of fun working together so far. no battles yet.... :) it's really been nice to see so much of each other.

well, my belly is growing a little bit everyday at this point. it's funny, at least once a day, i also look down and think, "is this my belly????" life has been so busy that it's sometimes been easy to overlook all the things that are happening! she's kicking more frequently, and i love it! i thought i would find it slightly creepy, but i am obsessed with feeling her move around. it's because i can now have repeated confirmation that she's doing well! it's been hard to be nervous for 4 week intervals between appts! :) i think i'm carrying pretty high, don't you?
