baby shower at eleise's

i am such a lucky person to have the friends and family that i do. those words, "friends" and "family," are definitely interchangeable for me and the people in my life. i have with eleise the kind of friendship that not everyone is lucky enough to have, and i'm so grateful to know her. she threw me a baby shower that was so beautiful and classy and everyone who came made me feel so special. :) it was one of those moments i thought to myself, "how did i get so lucky to have a life like this?" :) the food was fantastic, and the company could only have been better if kristie, val and amanda were there. :) she had petit fours made with violet's monogrammed initials, she had her husband help her make a slideshow of pictures of my maternity pictures and sonogram pictures set to jack johnson singing children songs, she had everyone wear pink and purple which i thought was so cute!, and she had cute games to play- everyone had a great time! here are pictures (i think the one of me holding catherine's new baby girl, lillian, is hilarious. hopefully that's not what violet will think of me!!):
