4th of july

this 4th of july was so much fun! allie and mom ran the firecracker 5k here in little rock, and then dad, sarah, devin and the kids met us downtown. we went to the farmers' market and the kids got some patriotic balloon animals and then we went to see the ducks at the peabody hotel. after that, we walked in the heat (!) to the museum of discovery and spent some time there. we all had a great time! after that, everyone but me went back to conway, and i went back home to take a good long nap! brian and i met everyone at mom and dad's house when i woke up and we ate some GOOOOOOOOOOD food and set off some fireworks. it was such a great day! although emma was not having so much fun. even with 3 benadryl, she was inconsolable and poor brian had to leave early to take her home... she's been good practice for a child, i'll tell you that much for sure! haha! here are pictures from that day starting with the museum, because i left the camera in the car for the farmers' market and the ducks:
