8 things that happened yesterday:
I slept in!
I drove to Memphis
I took cute wedding pictures at a fun wedding
I went to my friend’s house, exhausted, to stay with her after the wedding
I pulled on her street behind a truck parked at the next house
A guy got in that and backed into my car, tearing my front bumper
I got out of the car to assess the damage
He yelled profanities at me for “parking on his @ss” and peeled out so fast his tailgate swirved back and forth
I overcame some of the worst rage I’ve felt in a LONG time, and stayed up till 2:30 waiting on/talking to the cops to make a report on the hit & run- I’m working on getting all his info so justice can be served. :)

my own kitchen (living room, rather) with brian

Meeting brian’s (and my) family in dallas for thanksgiving- mimi makes the BEST sweet potato casserole and amanda makes the best apple-7up dumplings!
Taking a fall photo trip

Any sort of vacation

teeth whitening session
a successful optometric practice run by brian and myself (these are obviously not in order)
another dog (wishful thinking)
a (healthy) child in the next year or so

Obama is in the lead in the polls
Brian and I are optimistic about getting a business loan
I have an incredible, smart, generous, caring, hardworking, goal-driven husband that cares about me, and lets me know it
2 beautiful dogs that I could SWEAR came out of my uterus. They’re my BABIES (even though emma will be SEVEN years old on jan. 10!!!!)
getting to spend the evening on the couch with brian watching tv, allowing myself the night not to think about any deadlines/work/projects/etc.
capi’s is having our “soft opening” (i.e.- not advertised) this Friday- it’s exciting, but nerve-wracking!
I am fitting into single-digit jeans. :) (it’s the small things…)
I don’t have much of anything to complain about, aside from the horrifically disrespectful hit & run last night, and the fact that I’m always busy (my fault), I have a terrifically fantastic, lucky, lucky, lucky life filled with good people
